July, 2006 "Buenos dias, señores y señoras",
In addition to being able to travel at a relaxing pace, this is a region where cultures merge and where quality of life is sometimes more important than possessions. From Seville to the Costa del Sol you will literally see the landscape and the history change before your eyes. For many of you, it will alter and enrich your perception of the world around you. At the very least it will provide a respite from our winter in Maine.
The itinerary above is beginning to take shape and is meant to give you an idea of what your tour probably will look like. The dates have now been set and the details are almost complet. However, one of the most important qualities which distinguishes an ALC Adventure from other tours is our desire to satisfy as many of those in the group for as much of the time as is possible. This is your "Adventure". If you don't see something you would like to have added, let us know and we'll do our best to accommodate your wishes. Follow your Adventure with a relaxing stay at one of the Costa del Sol's most beautiful beach resorts and you'll understand why it's called Shangri-La!
The cost of the trip is $2395* per person, double occupancy and the enrollment is limited to 18. Details of what is included in the cost will be provided with your registration application. Finances and the final tour cost are always a factor and we hope we have done everything to include as possible in your itinerary. While it is tempting to choose the least expensive options, we believe ALC's strength lies in optimizing the value of both your time and you money spent on the tour.
Applications and itineraries are now available at both People Plus and ALC. If you have access to the internet send me an e-mail to Calvin@AdventuresinLanguage.com and I will forward you the forms to fill out. If there is anything you need to discuss, change, or inquire about, please contact me at 207-725-5248. In the meantime we sincerely hope this "prevue" will enhance your upcoming Adventure.
Best regards,
Calvin Hooker, Director
